Video / audio string reviews?

I'd love to see video (or audio) reviews of strings on specific, individual guitars on AGF.

The scientific pedant in me would like to see a thread where someone records video of themselves playing a set of strings just after installation on a specific guitar, then records the exact same thing (same recording setup and guitar) maybe a couple of days later, then after one week and one month or whatever.

Then the same person installs different strings on the same guitar and repeats the same recordings as accurately as possible, posting each new recording to the thread.

In this way, a kind of journal would be built up over time, hopefully showing which strings sound and endure best (to the reviewer's and the listener's ears) for a given guitar.

Obviously some intangibles would come into play, e.g., if the reviewer plays exclusively with a pick, then the information might be of more use to a fellow pick-user than a finger-picker. Also the dreaded humidity and seasonal variances could come into play.

What would be interesting to me would be to see how the same strings sound and change on different guitars, as well as how different strings sound on the same guitar.

Who else thinks this is a good idea?
