There are some real beauties here. They sure do set off the guitar nicely compared to the white or yellow plastic binding.

Thanks! Alas, it's probably unlikely that I find the time again in at least the near future. Thought that I'd do it right, if possible, my first time. Hence, ebony and lots of mitered purflings:

Plain but beautifully done - 1993 Lowden LSE1 (not sure what is used):











And I will need to go through the files to find a closer shot of the binding of my Lowden O22, but it is an example of plain and beautifully done work:





And back to my initial post - I mentioned my National M14 with Mahogany and plain Ebony binding - my first guitar with wood binding! Everyone assumes it is black plastic.
