Default Magnetic pickups with Baggs Session

Curious if anyone has experience with running magnetic pickups with Baggs Session DI. Really wondering how the Saturate function works with a magnetic.

I use the Session with many mag pickups (Sunrise, Baggs M1, M80, Fishman Rare Earth as well as Baggs Element and B Band UST pickups. Not sure how it really works, but seems to smooth out the sound of each one in a great way. Never have a problem getting a great sound easily thru many differerent amps and PA Systems. Highly recommend trying one....

That's cool. Did you ever need some EQ? Or is the session comp EQ enough?

I don't use any external EQ, I think it would only make it even better.
Not using external EQ is personal choice as my OCD would have me constantly adjusting tone controls more than enjoying playing..
