The wrangler looks great. I had one for 10 years. Had to sell it when I was going to have a kid. I still miss it. Best truck I ever owned. You will love your Wrangler. If you don't, you are probably a communist and you should move out of the USA.
Haha I already love it! I just need to learn how to drive stick lol. I got the guitar out of the clamps and her tap sounds soooo good. I would post pics but I'm on my phone so maybe later haha, fixing to start binding

So sadly I won't get to finish the binding because I don't have a bearing that will cut the right depth.. And the only place I can get it from is closed already and will be closed tomorrow.. then I leave sunday morning :/ So looks like I'm done building for now.

I really admire your patience and determination and think it is very cool that you are doing this! It must be mega-frustrating that you have to leave it for weeks at a time, but you will eventually get it done and it will be worth it. How many people can say they built a guitar when they were 16? Makes me think of Bob Taylor's book, which, by the way, I think you would enjoy.

Kid, you've got a great attitude and what appears to be great talent, too. Not surprised to see you're a Texan!

Keep up the good work, and keep us posted.

Sooo my dad brought the guitar down when he came to see me for thanksgiving. I have till friday to work on it. we are doing binding tomorrow!! Cant wait!

We sprayed the guitar with shellac to kinda seal the fibers so that when we tape the binding the tape wont pull any wood away.

The shellac really shows what its gonna look like under finish

end graft

top..

this thing is beautiful.. i cant even describe it, its sooo breath taking in person

the bearclaw in it is just ridiculous!!! cant wait to get it binded.. curley maple with bwb purfling

That is a lot of bearclaw! Good luck on the binding. Just make sure there is no shellac in the binding channels because this will keep the glue from doing its job. It's looking nice. Keep up the good work
