It is beautiful…….and strumming it sounded really nice.

oh well, I will try another one. Or think about the j 45 version.
Boy that's disappointing and a poor reflection on the seller not checking it before shipping.

Don't be put off - they are an excellent guitar.

I treated the bridge on mine with a little Music Nomad F-One fretboard conditioner - came up nice.

I'm with you there - I'm not unhappy with my choice but every Antique Natural I've seen looks mighty nice too.

I may have made a different choice if I'd seen them side by side.

I bought mine online, sight unseen. Gave the store my set up specs and they did a superb job.

they are shipping out a replacement today…
hopefully this epi hummingbird will have better QC

The first one that was sent had a action height 0f 2.75mm-3mm at e bass e string at 12 fret. I thought that was kind of high….

also my truss rod measurement tool show the neck to be concave? at about 15mm to 20mm which I think was way to high. I usiuall set my truss rod a 3- 5mm bend.

so all this internet youtube stuff about how great a set up it comes from factory , I did not see that.

I want to like it, it is just beautiful, and was pleased with the strumming sound..
