A few years back, I kept a set of Nashville tuned strings on a Taylor ‘Big Baby’. The songs that sounded best were (naturally) songs I associate with 12 string guitars - lots of Byrds material, lots of songs with 7th chords. It was fun to pick up every once and awhile, and I’d I had had the expertise, it would have been nice to lay down an extra track to accompany myself in a recording (but I don’t have the expertise!)
