Default Neck Reset?

Will this need a neck reset soon?

The attached picture is from 1933 kalamazoo kg11.

Action was fine when I played it but Im concerned the saddle looks a little low.

Apparently its never had a reset.
Before I drop 2k on this thing can someone please clarify?

Thankyou

In my limited experience, the saddle is too low when the string(s) buzz at the saddle.

From the pic, that saddle looks ok but maybe close to it's limit, is the action to your liking?

I’d like to see other pics from a variety of angles.
Based on the one pic, the saddle is low but nothing to be overly concerned about if the action is where you need it to be. If that changes then a neck reset might be in order.

But $2000 (pound?)for a neck reset? that sounds astronomical.

Poor photo, but it looks like the bridge has been slotted and oversize pins installed without fitting them properly. It looks like they are protruding too much above the bridge.

There's enough saddle height if the string height above the 12th fret is OK with you now. As long as you don't use heavier strings it will probably stay that way for a long time.

Sometimes we have to deal with the tradeoffs when selecting an instrument. Great tone and longevity in setup are sometimes at odds.

I believe the guitar is 2k, and he's trying to decide if he should buy it.
