Well Mary, Tim has assured us that all of the ingredients of the balm are food-grade. I suppose that if you spread it on thinly sliced, pre-cooked spruce tops, you will have created a unique luthier's snack. Heck, this could be a whole new McKnight product line!

Rick

PS - gotta add some cinnamon to the balm - it makes all baked goods taste better

Cinnamon makes everything better. Even a bowl of Chili is so much better!

Just a Mary-ism note:

Because the price of postage is about to increase which is said to be taking a only a temporary hike until the end of January, this is the ideal time to get Christmas stocking stuffers ordered and sent to stay in your secret hiding spot for December 25.

If you don't order gifts for family and friends then do it for your fret boards. You won't regret the finish and feel. Not to mention those guitars will thank you over a longer period of time!

I got the goods... used it on a Squier tele that had a very thirsty looking fretboard and the results were great.

I like how it smells and it is less messy than oil, too. Good stuff!

My Yamaha gets a string change next week and it will get a dose too. The other instruments were oiled relatively recently so they will have to wait a bit.

Thanks Tim!

Thanks for the feedback Horseflesh. Your comments echo others that have used our product. I am glad it has conditioned your FB as advertised and that tin should last you many many more applications.

Thanks again for taking a chance with our balm.

Default McWow Fretboard Treatment

I will be stopping by to pick up some for every guitarist I know…and I know a few. Please don’t sell out til I get there.

I really don’t care what you call it. I just looked at the before/after pics and my immediate thought was “wow”!

See you soon!

gracem. You are all very welcome! Being from Canada and speaking of old dogs, this balm is great for 4 legged old dogs coming in from the bitter cold and might have cracked paws. FYI: You can massage it on your own feet for a great night's sleep! How does that sound for sweet music?

This is a great time to consider what you want to put in the Christmas stockings of your favorite guitar players.

Teri, I'm always a text away. Oh, word on the street is that your dad is having his 90 (plus) birthday soon. Maybe you can buy to let your sister give Dad a much deserved foot massage while you play your guitar for them. I'm all about making this customer (and her dad) happy.

ATTN:
I know you don't want to hear this but the mail service in the world is beginning to get much more busy. If you choose to get 1 or more tins now if the time to consider the rush of Christmas shopping season. As I have mentioned those stockings that are hung, or not hung by the chimney for paws and a Pa who is older will sure bring smiles when they are filled with the balms from the McKnight guitar shelf. Get your out of state and country orders to Tim between now and mid November to be sure your package arrives in time.

Why push concerning a time frame? We mailed a package to Newport News, VA from Morral, OH September 8, 2022 and it arrived at her mailbox on October 10, 2022. We promise to get tins sent within a day or two forgiving weekend post office hours. However we have no control over the porch bandits, post office delays, train derailing or whatever. Thankfully that lady was delighted and told me the timing was perfect. She said it is safe to speak of this because I am not spilling the beans to a husband who might be reading this thread.
