Default Sigma Guitar Question

Just picked up a Sigma Model DR1ST N, serial: 96020162 in a pawn shop. Would appreciate any info anyone can provide, such as age, value, etc. Sounds really good with the new strings I put on it

I have a sigma it think that is from the late 80's early 90's. i don't know if it the exact model, but i bought it used for $90 over 20 years ago it had a split and a gash in the top someone fell on it during a gig but still sounds great. I took that thing to all the dicey events and it sounded good. I just gave it to my buddy who is just learning to play and needed a guitar.

You won''t regret that purchase.

Thanks for the input. The one I bought looks like it had been played very little and has no scratches, but so far I haven't been able to determine its age.

Pretty sure that’s a third gen 1988 thru 1996 probably made in Thailand.

I don’t think Martin kept track of the serial numbersk

They a worth about $100 to $300 but people are starting to collect the made in Japan series

I still have one of these sigma electric guitars I picked up from the Martin factory in Nazareth when they discountinued the sigmas in USA. The electrics are rare
Not sure how to make the image show up but here’s Ann example of the electric
