Default Quality repair/luthier wanted in S. Maine/NH

I've got several acoustics that need various work done, the most complicated being a neck reset on a '76 Martin HD 28. I'm in Portland Maine, and was unhappy with the quality of the work done by the sole repairman working out of the only non GC shop in town. I won't go there if it was free, and don't like chains of any kind (support your local shops!). Leaves me with not much left, to my knowledge. I do know about Larry Siegler in Farmington, but it's a bit of a haul. I was wondering if any of you locals out there could steer me to your favorite repair/setup shops in the S Maine and New Hampshire area. Places where you've had work done and would go back to!
Thanks for the help, Steve

One of the true guitar whispers anywhere is Pat DiBurro in Exeter, N.H.

Many places including the Music Emporium near Boston and CF Martin itself send Pat work, especially regarding major repairs. He also does the standard stuff too. You won't find a better mechanic to take care of your Martin.

I can recommend Larry Siegler in Farmington Maine. He's an authorized Martin repair person and has been in business for over 25 years.

He has done some maintenance work on my D-35 when I am out there visiting during the summers.

PM me if you would like his contact info.

Marty
