George Harrison used a Gibson SG for Revolver album and tour. John Lennon is reported to have used the same SG for the White album.

Dickie Betts gave his SG to Duane because he was tired of waiting for Duane to retune between songs.

Autographed by both.

That’s cool, but what songs did they record using the instrument? [emoji6]

In August, 1968, Clapton gifted Harrison a 1957 Les Paul Standard, an instrument Harrison named "Lucy." Apocryphal stories suggest that John Sebastian first owned it, then gave it to McCoys lead guitarist Rick Derringer, who before selling it to a music shop in New York City, where Clapton eventually purchased it, had painted it cherry red.

In September, 1968, Harrison loaned Clapton that same Les Paul Standard to play on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps."

Harrison used "Lucy" during the later White Album recording sessions, and throughout the Abbey Road sessions--most famously in the three-way solos on "The End."

I think they both used that guitar for their respective covers of "Ride Captain Ride", but don't quote me on that.

The "Greenly" Les Paul is now owned by Kirk Hammett of Metallica. Rumors are that he paid about $2M for that 1959 Burst.
