Smile Gibson J-60 Walnut & Guild D40 Bluegrass Jubilee - Guild Price Reduction Again !!

Up for sale are a couple really sweet instruments. ** BOTH GUITARS HAVE BEEN SOLD**

I'll have limited internet access until 5-27, but will respond as soon as I can.

First off is the 2005 Gibson J-60 Walnut. This is a very rare one for sure. Extremely limited run in 2005. It's in excellent, excellent condition. No dings, dents, scratches. Very, very clean Gibson.
Beautiful golden Sitka Spruce top and really awesome Walnut back and sides. Standard Mahogany Gibson neck with a small C shape profile. Ebony fretboard & bridge. 1.725 nut width. Bone nut, saddle and pins. No electronics. Includes original hardshell case in excellent condition.

Great bold Gibson voice. Very strong, warm and balanced with outstanding projection. The power and volume kinda reminds me of a Martin HD-28, but with a Gibson voice and a little more warmth, possibly due to the Walnut. Just an awesome instrument for sure. Absolutely*no disappointments here.

**SOLD**, includes shipping. Payment via paypal family and friends.

Next up for sale is my extremely beautiful 2011 Guild D40 Bluegrass Jubilee. This beauty is also in excellent, excellent condition. No dings, dents, scratches. Very, very clean Guild.
Just a beautiful sunburst finish on the Red Spruce Spruce top, Red Spruce scalloped bracing and beautiful Mahogany back and sides. Standard Mahogany Guild neck with a full C shape profile. 1-11/16" nut width. Has a great feel to it. Love the Guild necks. Has Rosewood fretboard and bridge. Bone nut, saddle and pins. No electronics. Includes original hardshell case in excellent condition.
This Guild has a very sweet, bold, warm and woody voice to it. Very well balanced with excellent projection. Just an all around awesome guitar.

Price is $SOLD, includes shipping. Payment via paypal family and friends.

Wink These are fine guitars - both of them!

Very nice for dreads/jumbos for less than $2K.

GLWTS and if I wasn’t moving next month, I’d have a hard time knowing which one to buy! I’ve owned 8 Guilds, mostly Westerly’s but I hear the short-lived CT builds are exemplary! Then we got a J-60, not a 45 or 50, tho looking his nice! Walnut is a great back wood for a dread, btw.

Again, GLWTS!

Thanks JohnnyD123, took me a little bit to figure out what GLWTS meant, I'm so hip... lol
yep, these are pretty awesome instruments. These guitars are just outstanding for the price point. Very much under the radar type instruments. I agree, Walnut is a great tone-wood. I have a couple other walnut guitars and love them.
No disappointments here at all folks !

I have owned several New Hartford-made Guilds from 2009-14, and each has been superbly built. My band mate is playing an F-47R currently, and it is a beast.

Someone should jump on the Gibson, I've had two of them and they are fantastic instruments.
