Default My guitar

So, after my precious Martin 00-15 was stolen, I replaced it with a guitar I know nothing about. The price was very right, used with a hard case for 150 bucks. It's a Norman B20HG, not a scratch on it, Sitka top and maple back and sides. It's an attractive guitar that blends very well with my voice. Maybe a bit bright for me, but overall I'm pleased.

Are these guitars well made? Good track record?

Any opinions, as always, are appreciated.

Much thanks.

Normans are made by Godin; the same company from where Seagull Guitars originate. They are well made, nice quality Canadian guitars, and it sounds like you got a good deal on it! They have laminate back & sides with a solid spruce top. Enjoy!

An indestructible guitar in my experience. Goin' on 20 years with my B20.

Does it have the bolt on neck or a set neck with a heel like most guitars?

Hard to replace a Martin I'm sure, I hate to hear it was stolen. Never played that model but the Candian built guitars (Seagulls & S&P) guitars that I've played I liked...apart from the Seagull headstock.

I had a B20 for over 20 years and recently sold it. Great guitar!

My brother has a Bulldog named Mackdaddy...which has NOTHING to do with the thread. LOL

Good luck with your new guitar, I agree that it is hard to replace a valued Martin. I hope it works for you.
