Get 5/8" thread on top of speaker stand?
Howdy,
I have both a Behringer B205D and a Mackie Freeplay Live (got it yesterday) that includes adapters to be able to put them on a microphone stand. However these amps are not compatible with regular speaker stands. Anyone who knows of adapters that would give me a 5/8" thread on top of a normal speaker stand? Bonus would be if it could even be tilted a little. Thanks in advance! /Per Last edited by Per Burström; 06-25-2019 at 11:45 PM. |

One reviewer mentions using this with the Mackie SRM150 and a speaker stand.
Hard to tell if this is large enough to clamp on. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...ign=aaShopping - SKU - Studio %26 Recording&adgroup=Microphones %26 Wireless - On-Stage Stands - boomside&placement=google&adpos=1o17&creative=2856 89015511&device=m&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=Cj0KC QjwjMfoBRDDARIsAMUjNZosC8yqilpiOEqnt20MIvsgo3bdOXF iQZ23ryFIBnT-vc8qw_K08xwaAmQVEALw_wcB You may have to make your own...

I've got a B205D, but usually use a mic stand. However I cobbled together something that may come close to what you want. The B205D does mount tilted backwards for use as a monitor in front of the performer.
I screwed a 5/8" to 3/8" adapter bushing into the B205D mount adapter to facilitate the 3/8" bolt. I do have the On Stage clamp YamahaGuy linked. It misses fitting by a small amount, but a little bend of metal might get it to work. This is similar to the pole mount bracket I used https://www.amazon.com/EB9760-Exteri...ateway&sr=8-18 |

pvc pipe to fit over stand, i think its 1 1/2 inch pvc. a pvc cap for the pipe and a 5/8 bolt ,two lock washers and two nuts. drill a hole in the cap to accomodate the 5/8 thread bolt and secure it with the lock washers and nuts. pvc glue the cap to the pipe . i used about a six inch length of pvc pipe for my aer c3 .spray paint it black.cheap if you have the stuff around the house all i needed was the bolt.I actually took the amp to the hardware store to match the threads. two nuts on top insured it wont loosen up. It worked great. No slant though. The length of pipe is up to you. I used about six inches because with the cap and bolt it still fit in the pocket of the aer amp bag.

Thread starter here. Thanks for your feedback!
I found this which I plan to get: https://www.gravitystands.com/en/pro...7/sf-36-z-38-m Gives me 3/8", but adapters from 3/8 to 5/8" inch I have plenty. /Per |

There's also a K&M product matching what I was looking for (minus tilt): https://www.k-m.de/en/products/speak...ck-3-8-x-12-mm
I ordered the Gravity one though, found the K&M later. /Per |
