Default Jam 200 vs New Unico 250

Hi all, first time on the forum....great source of information, thanks.

Wondering about the jam 200 vs the newest UNICO 250. Would be coffeehouse/small brewery stuff. 000-sized martin with K&K mini. Vocals as well. Seems like the UNICO... just to have few more amps??? Any idea what would be the major differences.

thanks

If it were me I'd go with the Unico because of the bigger speaker, cabinet and higher wattage. Nothing wrong with the Jam but if I wasn't using a Roy myself I'd be using a Unico over the Jam.

I have no idea how a Unico sounds, but my Jam 200 is amazing.

Never plug anything in/out when it's on. Always turn Schertler's off first or it will cost you money.

Haha. Good to know about unplugging/plugging.

Anybody have experience with K&k mini SBT with the K&k internal microphone. I really want the mic’d sound.. and then blend the two signals with a pre-amp (? Felix)... Is the feedback gonna be that bad? Hoping it won’t be so bad, given the small venues....just seems the samples of K&k mini still sound s little artificial. Hoping the internal mic with fill it out?

I have a K&K power duo installed in one of my guitars and I use a Felix to blend it with a SE Electronics SE8 microphone and love the combination (I prefer the mic on a stand rather than the internal K&K). On one of my other guitars I have an older version of the K&K Trinity which is the power duo + internal mic and since that includes 3 independent volume controls I can blend right there on the sound hole edge and I use the Felix to make any EQ adjustments to the final tone

Thanks. I looked into the felix. Seems like quite a nice piece. Sounds like the tonedexter maybe something to consider. I was ignoring it initially, as was thinking all analog was necessary to have good tone, but man people are raving....
