Unfortunately I lost my best dog ever in March. I’ve never been without a dog or 2 my entire life, so I understand the deal we make. But loosing Haas was as tough as it gets. Life goes on and our new puppy was just born with a “come home” date this August. I thought it would be a good idea to pick up this timeless classic and read it again.

Reading Michael Caine’s biography, Blowing the Bloody Doors Off. One of my most favorite actors! Also, I’m anxiously awaiting Julie Andrews’ new memoir

I recently finished way more reading than I wanted to do for Cisco 9000 series switches, and I'm almost done with a 400+ page legal report that's been in the news.

The Apple News+ subscription has slowed down the book reading but a lot of fun reading a lot of magazine articles and newspapers we did not subscribe to prior. I'm sticking with that $10 a month. The content is really great but I wish some content in the apps could be text only like the Zinio app does for magazines.

I recently finished "Recursion" by Blake Crouch. A heck of a story and it's become one of my favorite books.

Currently reading "The Terminal List" by Jack Carr.

I’ll order this. I have a puppy coming mid July. (I’ll post a new dog day when he gets here.) I don’t even remember what puppies are like—my last 4 dogs were teens when they came to me.

I read my first Dean Koontz book last week and promptly bought two others. Here's what I'm reading now in the evenings after work out in the sun.

I have two going at the same time as usual...

My “bathroom book” is “Behave” by Robert Sapolsky. An exhaustive examination of human behavior (both good and bad) and it’s influences, from our evolutionary history up to “what happened a few seconds ago.”

Fascinating stuff from a neuroscientist/primatologist.

The second is the Chinese science-fiction novel that got great reviews, “Three Body Problem”. Excellent translation, BTW....
They are planning to make a film, I see... And ****ed if I know how they’ll do it....

"My Life Was This Big", biography of Lefty Kreh. I've seen him in person and had him autograph a book. I'm enjoying the read.
