NUAD
That’s new used amp day. Came upon a need for a small amp. As we tend to do, this led me down the rabbit hole of research.
Wanted to get the best sound I could for the best price, all other aspects secondary (but the more/better features, obviously the better). Budget wouldn’t allow for an AER or Schertler. Wound up getting a used Elite Acoustics A4-8 for not much more than a Loudbox Mini. Hoping this does the trick and is worth keeping around, as I prefer for the hunt to be over. Not much info out there on these, but folks seem to like the D6-8. Gonna check it out tonight quietly after the kids go to bed. Anybody using one of these? Anybody tried running it through a couple QSC K10s? |

I have a d68 and a smaller m6br8 from sunrise gear.
both are stellar. You made a good choice. I know with my d68 i can run an aux out to a qsc and have a seperate eq for the qsc. handy when the 40 watt d68 wont quite fill the room. |

I have to update this just to highlight the service provided by Elite Acoustics. I’m nothing but a guy with a used amp to them, but reached out via email with a question to their support. Within hours they responded and were dead on point with their response, giving me the exact information I needed. I responded saying thanks hours later, and at night they responded within minutes saying no problem and happy to help. Very impressive product, very impressive service.
