Default Guitar Wireless Used For a Mic?

I just purchased the unbranded version of Carvin's new5G wireless system. It's working well and I like the fact that it runs on a band that has less interference issues.

I'd love to see a wireless mic system on this band but there aren't any that I've seen and the systems that are similar, such as Sennheiser and Xvive, cost a bit more than I want to spend.

Sooo ... Here's a most likely dumb question form someone who knows nothing about electronics:

Could one the Carvin 5G system - assumably designed for guitars - for a microphone through the use of XLR to 1/4" adapters at the instrument and amp??
