Default armless chair for playing outside?

I'd like to have an armless chair that I can leave outside. The outdoor furniture Ive seen has arms. Do you know of any?

Thanks.

I got a webbed armless outdoor chair at Home Depot a couple of years ago for exactly the purpose and reason you describe. I have no idea what the brand was but know it didn't cost much. They're out there, probably you just need to visit a couple of big box stores. It's very comfortable and works well when I have Retro strings on my guitar!

Thanks Phil--Glad your chair goes with your Retro strings! I'll check out Home Depot and see what I can find.

Go to the junk shop and get an old dinning room table chair. Next?

I've looked, to no avail. So I just use my performance stool, one of these ... actually a second one, the other is under the seat of my car. I keep it out of the rain (cuz I can) when not in use.

I have a simple wood frame with canvas top folding stool. The wood and canvas sort of construction you see in a director's style chair. It's great - low cost, travels well, takes up little room when not in use.

Just hit a few yard sales and pick up a nice, sturdy, all-solid wood straightback chair that you can "lean back on" if you choose... hard to beat!

That's what I use - I really like it.

And I fold it and lean it against the patio wall in case of rain or birds etc while I'm not using it.

it looks like this (I just set a guitar there to take a picture of the guitar but it gives you an idea of the chair)

Thanks for the suggestions. I will explore yard sales. Fazool, that chair looks perfect. And so does the guitar.

I've got one of those, too. I don't like most foldable yard furniture as the seats are slung between metal, plastic or wooden frames, which dig into the backs of my legs. A stool or hard chair for me.
