Default NGD, American Professional Strat

I am hoping this one will be the last for a while! Bought this last week and it's a killer guitar! One of the best strats I have played. The swamp ash rings like a bell and it's a really pretty finish. The playability was perfect straight from the factory. This should be my last NGD for a long time!

So now I see what you meant when saying in the other thread "about to post one more." Need pics my C of C brother. When do you play all these guitars?

Fantastic! Congrats Todd. Hard to believe that Fender is no longer using ash in their guitars (or at least their standard production line). You may have one of the last ones. Enjoy.

Electric guitars, it doesn't get much better than this.

Bonedigger, if your not a trem user I can tell you how I hard tailed my American Pro and really liked the action. It is quite simple.

I think for now I will keep the trem intact. I will be in touch if I change my mind though! Thanks for the offer!

They’re not?? That’s not good, ash on some finishes is awesome (like my G&L ASAT Classic hollow body...)

Nice strat. love the finish enjoy it, play the hell out of it and get that natural relicing happening on it =P

I just got mine three weeks ago for my birthday (I made a thread about it showing it off), AmPro in 3TSB with maple neck, single coils vmods, haven't been able to put it down. best electric guitar I've ever owned and even love it more than my Les Paul now.

I don't know what it is about Stratocasters but There's a certain magic that just comes out of them that you can't get from any other type of electric guitar. Maple neck strats are terrific for providing that bit of extra snap that you just can't seem to get from rosewood, maple really helps give you that nice meaty hendrix tone on the bridge pickup.
