My Blue Chip TD-50 recently fell out of my hand and onto the floor. And now my Martin doesn't sound quite the same. Any advice about how to rebevel my Blue Chip? Or should I just send it back?

Good point.

I believe that those who KNOW that something might be a stupid question tend to actually *think* about their question, unlike... others.

I totally agree with helping out people who are *seeking knowledge*. I think this thread has focused on posts that aren't as much in that spirit...

I keep breaking strings and I think I may have damaged the top using my Cursed Life 20mm hardened steel pick.

How long do I boil my strings to clean them?

There are people that actually do this apparently - I've never understood the whole 'I don't have $5 for a set of strings dilemma'. You have an apartment with running water and a stove, presumably with electricity and/or natural gas...but you can scrape up enough change for a $5 set of strings? I assume you have a computer or smart phone with an internet connection to ask this question, but can't afford strings?

I'm pretty sure I'd live on Rice & Beans before playing rusty strings...but thats just me

I was told to turn the truss rod to lower the action on my new D-18. I kept turning the rod but all that happened was the neck ballooned out and has big hump that won't go away . How do I get the hump out? Should set some heavy weights on it? Turning the truss rod the other way does nothing please help???!!!

Is fresh squeezed lemon oil better than store-bought for my fretboard?

Default Make up an imaginary stupid AGF question...

I’ve heard my guitar has a bridge on it, can I walk across it?

I’ve seen fire and I’ve seen rain, am I James Taylor?

I know the sound I’m looking for in my head and I remember it fondly as a child. The bass is like a heard of wild buffalo galloping across the great Plains, the mid range asks a question but secretly knows the answer and the treble response is like an angel cooing softly whilst sat on a lily pad in late June. I can’t get to play any guitars as my nearest shop would be a 15 minute round trip so will have to rely on YouTube and strangers as my guide and the internet as my saviour. My budget is $300. What guitar should I buy?
