Hi, I live in Myrtle Beach. I just opened up a fresh pack of strings that I've had for over 2 years and I was beyond shocked to see that they were corroded! The quality control from company X has gone done the toilet and I will never buy anything from them again!

I think the old saying 'there are no stupid questions' could be modified. There certainly are many nonsensical or lazy questions that get asked in online fora that few would ever have the courage to ask in real life.
I know that this thread is about fun, but this raises an important issue. I'm always concerned when someone starts by saying "this may be a stupid question but..."

I tend to respond to these if I can because I seriously do believe that this is an important aspect of this forum, to help and assist each other, especially those who are new to the guitar, and playing.

If I put Martin Retro strings on my Martin Modern guitar will time stand still?

Do Pre-War Guitars only play old songs?

Can anyone tell the difference between an Esteban and a 1937 D28 in a blind listening test?

Sure, just make sure it's not an heirloom guitar and you're not Stephen Bishop...

I thought long and hard, but I'm pretty sure any question I could come up with has been asked on this forum... [emoji16]

My strings are 5 years old. Should I change them?

You're right! They are.

Come folks. The task is to ask "imaginary, stupid" questions. Try harder.

How about: I want to learn Delta and Piedmont blues. Is there a guitar that can do both?

No, that won't work. Sounds too normal.

This is a lot harder than it seems.
