Ditto for me!

My Lowden O32C is by far the best fingerpicking guitar I have ever had. Normally, I always got the feeling that small body guitars suits fingerpicking better than jumbo or dreads, but I recently realized it is not my case at all. The dynamics and the extensive frequency range I get from my Lowden is so pleasing and musical. You can get all sort of sounds out of it. It’s more difficult to play and control because of these sonic possibilities but it’s highly rewarding. I also use an atypical set of strings and always in DADGAD, with low D and high A in medium gauge, high D in 0.14 or 0.15 and all the rest in light gauges. Sounds like heaven and sings with a full big sound across strings and neck.

Martin CEO-7; 1 3/4 nut, 2 5/16ths spacing at the bridge, Adi top. This guitar is light w a dry tone and is a relative bargain.

My Martin Norman Blake(ish). The tone is wonderful and for my aging hand and fingers, the string spacing is as good as its going to get. The Taylor and Collings in my sig are very close and I alternate regularly between the three of them.
