Thank you Joel. I too love the maple. It's a fine but underused tonewood.

My JK Round Peak Maple/Cedar gets played a LOT!!! At home and gigs both. John knows how to voice his instruments for full TONE.

Just sayin’

Default Binding done….finally

Curly walnut binding to match the curly top back and sides. Also, just for fun, there is a small back bevel.

A little shellfish are out the top edge.

Thanks Paul. I wish the maple and your guitar were bench mates. Your neck is undergoing a little reconfiguration else it would be strung up. The maple is miles from that.

My sense is that there is always at least one guitar for Paul on John's bench. Don't you have enough guitars?? Heh heh...just kidding.

I don't think there will be any need for contagious enthusiasm when people see and hear this one.

Hey Jamie. I did sell the first two of John’s 5 Pablo package customs, but only so I could have John continue building the last one and the current one…. The last I heard the new owners were quite pleased indeed!

Just one more, please! Hahahaha

Cheers

Paul

That sure is pretty John. Very tastefully done. I love the contrasting woods. And that bearclaw is absolutely killer!!
