Roland AC-33 amp - power cord
Hi all,
I play outside with my Roland AC-33 amp using batteries. When inside, I'd like to plug it in to save my batteries. Does anyone know specifically which adapter/cord to get? I tried one from Ebay which makes a loud humming noise. Thank you, Pauline

https://www.sweetwater.com/store/det...roland-psb-12u Most of the third party supplies are ungrounded (two wire). Sometimes they will work and sometimes they won't. You can manually ground your AC-33 by attaching a wire to the screw of a wall outlet cover plate and the other end to the amp's chassis. If that sounds like something you don't know how to do, then don't :~). I made one of these for just this problem. On one side it is wired to a wall plug ground and the other side is a ring that fits (in this case rather loosely) around the outside of the DC plug.
