Default Goodall Brazilian/Master Italian Jumbo

I've been wanting a Brazilian rosewood Jumbo from James Goodall since I first played one of his guitars about 15 years ago. This past Summer, after unloading a few guitars to finance the purchase, I decided the time had come to commission one. It turns out that James only had a single set of Brazilian left in his stockpile large enough for a Jumbo so I feel pretty fortunate to have decided to order when I did. I just received the guitar earlier this week and have to say that it is extremely impressive. The bass response on this guitar is just amazing and the high end is clear as a bell. I'm not sure how James and Luke do it but they are definitely at the top of their game. Instead of rambling on here I will let the photos do the talking. However, I do have to say that the photos don't do the figure in the back justice.

That’s a real beauty! I think Goodall makes great guitars. I really like my GC and expect you are going to love this one. Congratulations.

Thanks fellas! Big is definitely a great description of the sound of this guitar. In fact, we've started only referring to it as Big Ben

That back strip makes the back look fantastic. What is the width of the lower bout?

I am hoping some day to own a Goodall. Fantastic guitars.
I looked on his site but could not see the dimensions of the Jumbo.
Can you tell me what the Lower both width and the greatest body Depth are?
Do you think the trebles are as bright as a dreadnought?

The lower bout is 17" and it's 4 5/8" at the tail block. Very big sound. I think the high end is easily as good as a dread but the bass response is much, much better.

Congratulations! I took delivery of a Brazillian / Italian Concert Jumbo earlier this year as well from James and Luke, so I totally get your excitement! Enjoy your new guitar in good health!

I think I know pretty closely how your new Goodall sounds. It's a monster! Enjoy it in good health!

Here is my Goodall Brazilian/Master Adirondack Jumbo that I received as a custom order in March, 2014:
