As much as I like some of the other systems and the fact that they are more attractive minus the side mounted preamp I find I'm way more likely to take it out and use it this way.

Thanks, I kinda figured you must have chosen it for it's inherent professional functionality, your sig guitars don't show up on this iPad Tapatalk mode, but IIRC you also have Taks.

Congrats on that beauty. My X20 Green Woody is on order and the time won't pass soon enough until the carton arrives on my front porch from Donegal......

That Cocobolo is really striking. I know you couldn't be more pleased.

Yes my chosen guitars to tour with have been for the last several years the Takamine pro series guitars with the CTP-2 Cooltube preamps. I also add a Magnetic soundhole pickup as a 2nd source. As of late I've switched most of them to the DiMarzio Angel from the Takamine branded Triax pickups. Really just a Passive Baggs M1. They sound good as well but the Angel I'm liking a little more in the mix.

For plug & play it's been the best sound I've achieved.

The Emeralds are my sit out guitars but if I do a local gig I take them out sometimes to mix it up some.
