Courtney Hartman
Someone had posted this clip in another thread, and I've watched it quite a few times since:
https://youtu.be/ZtldB73hiYM I was familiar with Courtney Hartman and enjoy her music but this was really on another level. The fluidity of her picking and the way her left hand moves to the first note in the next chord is mesmerizing. Just the right amount of palm muting. The vocal dynamics are wonderful too. Wow, just wow.

The left hand is nice, but that right hand is putting on a clinic in extracting the max possible from open chord shapes. I’m going to send this to my niece, perfect song for her.

Her song Cumberland Gap is also a pretty great guitar song. She is something special.

Have heard her name and have seen her name mentioned for a few award nominations but have never really listened to her music until your post. She’s quite a talented guitarist and vocalist as well. Glad you posted this. I’ll check her out
