Billy Boy I don't know how I missed this post, thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to meet you in California and I look forward to returning soon

Me neither! Hopefully it won't be a posthumous release, but at this rate...

Joking aside the studio will be officially entered in Jan 2012, in the meantime I'll do as many videos as I can as they're fun too!

Thank you, yep, I'm a very proud owner. It's my only guitar and we're getting on very well indeed.

Very impressed with the recording given that it's out in the wild.

Also, LOVE that tune!

It was a bit chilly, no denying it! As for the recording, well, Bradley is a VERY talented dude and I'm very lucky to have him as a collaborator.

And finally... TAB

well, when I get a moment you'll be amongst the first to get it! May end up outsourcing to my mate Tristan Seume as I know he does a fantastic job

well, it's been a while since this thread was on the front page!

I thought I'd post a preview of the front cover of the latest edition of Guitarbench.com magazine

They're doing a special all about guitars from The Tree this month.

Any idea how to get this Michael? It's not on their home page, which links to Issue 2 (despite the text stating they are pleased to announce the "first issue").

I really enjoyed the first two issues - very professional job and a great read on an iPad - but the website could be a lot easier to navigate and that ISSUU thing brings me out in a rash!

cheers,
Steve

Hey Steve, if you subscribe it gets delivered to your inbox. I read it on a MacBook; it won't run on my iPad - what App are you using to open it?

Cheers
Vic

Hi Vic - "Goodreader" - GREAT software for peanuts. 59p IIRC (but bought a couple of years ago when the iPad first landed).

I've "registered" with them. Is that the same as "subscribed"? In any event, I guess I'll get hold of it soon.

Cheers,
Steve

Anyone got any ideas about how to get this or when it will be available? The latest issue still isn't on their website and its now August. I registered with them when Michael made his post above but still no luck trying to access the mag. Frustrating+++!

Cheers,
Steve

I don't think Terence released this issue yet.

Michael, do you know whether you own the only Kostal that was ever built with the "Tree"?

A few months ago Jason mentioned he didn't have any more in stock...

Congrats again on a beautiful and great sounding instrument.

Michael, when I was at Jason's last year, he showed me a carve top les paul made entirely of the tree: do you know anything about that guitar? It would probably complement your mod d really well
