Best glue for small repairs
The little white plastic triangle on the heel of the neck of my D-28 has fallen off.
What would be the best glue to stick it back on without going too overboard? I'm thinking a very light smearing of PVA myself but would be interested to hear suggestions from those with more experience. Thanks in advance.

Wood glue is generally a poor choice for plastic, but if there are wood fibers adhered to the heel cap, it may work. I use CA because it is essentially a sure thing. Epoxy is another alternative.

Heel cap...that's the word I was looking for.
It came off cleanly so no fibres attached to it, the wood itself is unfinished there & also clean. I'll give both a wipe down anyway & Supaglue/CA it will be. Thanks for the tips.

Thank you for your posts. Perfect timing because the heel cap on my Martin j40 is loose.
