Default Martin OMCPA4 - upgrade Fishman F1 Analog

Does anyone know if this system can be upgraded? Not sure it’s worth upgrading the electronics or upgrading to same style Martin with better electronics?

What's the problem with the Fishman F1 Analog as it is?

I was never really blown away by the piezo sound, it’s older and I believe they’ve “upgraded” the system. Is there anything that would be a direct replacement (even after market)? I do like the feel of the guitar itself.

I think the Fishman F1 Analog uses the Matrix UST as its pickup. If it does, you've got the best UST that Fishman offers. Perhaps the most painless way to improve your amplified tone would be routing the output of the system through a Fishman Aura Spectrum Pedal or a ToneDexter as that would alleviate most of any "quack" and give you a more mic-like amplified tone.

I agree with this recommendation. The only difference between this system and the newer ones is the addition of Aura. A pedal like the Aura, ToneDexter, or LR Baggs Voice print will give the same functionality without modifying the guitar. Moreover, even a simple pedal like the TC Helicon Bodyrez can do wonders for any piezo.
