Default LR Baggs Anthem Distorted Bass

A few weeks I got an L.R. Baggs Anthem professionally installed. All of a sudden, after some playing the bass notes are extremely distorted. The distortion is sometimes not there when I tilt the guitar. Here's a sound sample while tilting the guitar:

Here's how installation looks like, not sure if I captured everything relevant:

I think something might have loosened, but honestly have no idea what the cause is. Any ideas? I'd be grateful as I'm really not too much not into technical stuff to figure it out by myself.

1) do you still get distortion if the mix pot is set to 100% pickup?
If you do, ask your luthier to reinstall the under saddle transducer (element)

2) if you mostly get distortion with the mix pot set to maximum microphone, try to reduce the gain from the mic with the little tool/screwdriver Baggs provided.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I get distortion no matter how I set the mix.

Take it back to whoever did the installation. It's more than likely an simple fix.

In my opinion, an irresponsible installation especially on a carbon guitar because the wire guides, especially the Element's lead-wire guide, are mounted on the top and that can feed an extra dose of vibration back into the initial pickup's signal! Remove ALL wire guides that are mounted on the top! Try to route the wires and guides to the sides of the guitar, and if not enough length, try locating them on the bottom of the guitar! Another contributor to the distortion is the possibility the Element UST needs to be reinstalled so that it seats flatly between the saddle and the bottom of the saddle's slot. To do this use a piece of adhesive-backed fine (150 grit) sandpaper on a flat surface and flatten the bottom of the saddle until it's smooth with no arching.
