Default Scratches on a satin finish (Martin)

My Martin 000R slipped off the table it was leaning against and now has a few small scratches on the top. I was wondering if there is a way to remove or hide the scratches easily with a home remedy. The guitar is fine and plays fine. Worst case scenario I don't have to worry anymore about those first few scratches. Oh, yeah, it has a satin finish.

Thanks.

There's ways to remove scratches by refinishing but if you don't know what you're doing you'll undoubtedly make things worse.

My experience is that the first scratch is a good thing: it will absolutely never happen again.

Photos ?, have the scratches gone into the wood, or are they just in the finish

And are the scratches going with the grain (easier to hide) or against the grain (harder to hide).....or both?

Oh yes, consider getting some kind of stand to temporarily rest your guitar on, as you now know, resting your guitar as you did has its consequences. Sometimes you can get away with it and sometimes you can't.

Satin finishes do not touch up well and do not buff out. So call it character......
