Looking for Greven 000 Tor-tis Pickguard
anyone know where I can get a Dark or vintage 50s for 000-size? Nobody seems to keep them in stock and I don't want to cut one from a sheet. Here's a link to what I'm looking for.

You could always try Greven himself...he can do custom sizes and such.
http://www.grevenguitars.com/tortis.htm I seem to recall the last time we spoke that he isnt doing pickguards anymore due to being busy with guitars but its worth a shot.

LMI has in stock the Mid-size Teardrop Tortis that I think would fit the 000, in contrast to the Small Teardrop for an OM. Same size soundhole radius. Call them to confirm.
http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/thirdpro...%99+Pickguards LMI also provides PDF profiles of these guards in scale to a ruler, which may help you verify fit. http://www.lmii.com/CartTwo/headerim...withrulerS.pdf I've purchased three from them, and was pleased with the fit. Sometimes the pre-cut guards can be a smidgeon off the radius. If you have an experienced tech nearby, you could by a sheet and have him fit it to your guitar. |

Thanks!
Thanks for the responses guys. I found a Greven 50s at FQMS but it had to be backordered. Apparently Turtleworks, a one-woman operation in Bloomington, IN, makes all the Grevens in her oven. FQMS has had 4 of this model on order since May. Being a one-person operation, the backlogged orders can really add up I'm thinking!
I did enjoy looking at the vendors that you guys suggested.
