Sometimes you see a guitar listed at such a stupid-good price that you have to wonder what's wrong with it. As noted above, I lucked out on this in a deal with a good forum buddy so can go a little low on it. If not for the checking i"d be asking closer to $5500 -go talk to Santa Cruz about them building a custom for you
 So again, this is a rich dark chocolate toned, smooth, deep, complex, overtones all over the place, nuanced, perfectly set up, effortlessly playing, bangin' guitar at a ridiculous price. I've had a bunch of offers but can go no lower on the price and be able to live with myself. If you've lusted after a SCGC, here it is!

It should also be brought to lite that any minor imperfection in the finish can be made to disappear by the shop at SCGC, they make repairs that are perfect, I can speak from experience. So add a few bucks for that and you still get a flaming deal!

It's more than a few bucks, Jerry. SCGC's charge for a top refinish is $1400! So I took that full amount off the top for what is definitely some checking but not to the degree where it keeps you - or me at least - from seeing how beautiful the guitar is.
