"Wonderful Tonight"
Speaking of Clapton covers, here's another one I did with a free bass/drum/keys backing track in '08. I did rhythm and lead guitar using two different Zoom sims, and sang the reverby vocal

Man, you beat me to it! I love that song.
I listened to those backing tracks and they're really meant for electric. They have an acoustic version but it's shortened and I'm not confident of my editing abilities if I could lengthen it. Great job, Tom. The lead fills were cool. I little bit in the way here and there, but the playing was great. I wish I had those chops. This must be Clapton week here at AGF.

Thanks Rob and CC, and I know I had too many fills. I tend to try to solo over the whole song. If I was in a band, the singer would hate me
For an acoustic version, I'd just do it with no backing track. Just one guitar track and the vocal. I have a simple version I'm working on that incorporates the rhythm chords and basic lead melody in one (not a chord melody, but a simpler version that can be flat picked in the first position), but it's not all together yet.
