Vintage Brazilian Dreads as "Modern" Fingerstyle Guitars
Here's a really simple Celtic tune on a '61 D-21. This is one of my few remaining steel string guitars and I really like how it sounds in alternative tunings.
I think if we'd all let our instruments try to wear multiple hats, we'd be pleasantly surprised at how well they're capable of handling them ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etqqc0kYvGc Peace, Mike |

Nice playing and I LOVE the tone, that's what Martins are all about, warm and woody, and clean deep bass even capoed!
Well done, very smooth!

that is one sweet sounding D-21, looks well cared for also (for being a '61). I love the sustain and the upper end balanced with the low end, not that common for Martins (in my opinion of course). Oh! That is a nice minute and a half of playing also, good rhythm and nice interlayed full string strumming for that Celtic tune. Good job sir! Oh and yes they make great fingerpickers too.
