Once in a while I use Meguiars Quik Detailer to give my Rainsong a good cleaning.
The guitar does not have any scratches though, so I am not sure how well it works for buffing those.

I let a coworker with Freddy Krueger nails play my Shorty once, only to bring it home and find nasty marks on my guitar (no pickguard). Love the guy but I was pretty miffed really, and I KNOW it wasn't me because I have great control over my picking hand. I bought this and it worked fantastic. Yes, some of the scratches were really deep but it got them out too with some extra elbow grease. After I was done I put on a clear pickguard so it wouldn't happen again.
Works as advertised, no silicone, and works on all finishes. I'll never use or recommend anything else https://www.guitarscratchremover.com/

Carbon fibre guitar finishes originated in the automobile and aerospace industries.
Car dealership and auto body shop solutions: - shallow scratches are buffed or rubbed with polishing compound - deep scratches showing primer or metal are cleaned, dabbed with layers of colour (ask the guitar maker about colours), then buffed with polishing compound - lots of internet videos about fixing car paint scratches Cheers.

I was at the Composite Acoustics factory in Lafayette when they build my first CA guitar (I have 2). I spent the day watching it go from a piece of cloth in a Ziploc to a guitar. I was surprised to discover that the final filling and finishing takes more time than building the guitar and they hired top of the line autobody guys for the finishing.
So If I wanted to get my guitar spiffed up I'd find a good autobody shop or use the same techniques, materials and supplies. Bob
