Default Gotoh 510 ebonoid buttons (recent)

Owners of said tuners with said buttons: would you say they are finished in a satin or a gloss look? Compared with the rest of the Taylor body and neck, that is. Thanks!

Mine are satin. Can't say as I have seen glossy ebonoid buttons on Gotohs.

Default Satin....

...but honestly,I suggest that you seriously consider staying away from the 510's,especially the Deltas. They are very expensive.I'm not talking about one set which are steal at about a bill.I'm talking about the cost to retrofit EVERY one of your other guitars with 510's....betcha can't eat just one They're just that good.Anyone who says different has never played them, pure and simple. Thanks everyone! My new BTO was ordered with these. My 714 of course has Taylor tuners but I put on aftermarket ebonoid buttons.

The reason for the question was because someone suggested I get a glossy truss rod cover on my headstock (cover will be ebony and the headstock is gloss rosewood). I think I'm just going to let it be satin, like the tuner buttons.
