Soon NGD a new 2017 Gibson J45 Standard
Well over the past few years, I've struggled with bonding with my Martin OMJM. I've played it alot at home and at my church.
I DID LOVE the smaller body as it just fit, but sound wise, I struggled to really bond with it. For those of you that have them, it's a slightly brighter Martin. After my adventure into Gibson land, I decided to not hold on to a guitar for sentimental reasons. If I'm not super into it, sell it, and move on. So that's what I did today. I sold my 2015 Martin OMJM and found a new 2017 Gibson J-45 Standard (Vintage Sunburst) for a great price via Leitz Music in Florida. It should arrive around Tuesday. Over the years, I've really honed in on what my ears love...and it's a quick decay, mellow, thump that Gibson has to offer. With that being said, I'd have no qualms finding another Martin in the future. Here's a link to the exact Gibby that I've landed. Can't wait! https://www.ebay.com/itm/2017-Gibson...p2047675.l2557

Awesome! You are going to love that guitar. Tough to beat a good J-45.

Yep, played many and for whatever reason, the j45, hands down, the most inspiring guitar I have ever played. Hope you enjoy yours!

If you sing while you play there is nothing like a J-45. Congrats!

Good for you! Unique, iconic guitars. I’ve had two. Stupidly sold the first one and righted that wrong by getting a 2018 earlier this year. Enjoy!
