Default Time in a Bottle

This is a video / recording with no amplification. Recorded with my iPhone focusing more on the Guitar. The Guitar is my Rainsong H DR1000. An incredible guitar that stays tuned and plays like a Less Paul.
Time in a Bottle is a song I've done for many years. I saw a video recently of Jim Croce with his young son at the time AJ, and it was talking about how his young son inspired this great song "Time in a Bottle" A love song of the truest sense. Although I have sung this at weddings and anniversary celebrations, it shows that Love is a wonderful thing to sing about regardless of who it's about.
Time doesn't wait for any of us. As a 14 year old Jim Croce was a musical hero to me. Now we have 3 children that have blessed us with 9 nine grandchildren. My hands fail me, and my voice cracks at times. Time in a Bottle would sure be nice about now.

Really enjoyed that...I’ve been putting off learning this tune for too long!

That would suit you well. I love to hear the younger generation doing these old songs. I’m sure you would make it shine.
Thank you so much for the kind words.

Wonderful job! It takes energy to keep that one going at the right pace. And, you really captured the subtle nuances that are so important to the faithful recreation of the song. Very well done.

Jim was one of my early heros as well, and I often wonder what he and Maury would have given to the world if not for their early passing.

Thanks for posting.

Thank you for the kind words.
When Maury joined up with him, his music went to the next level. Incredible team they were!

Thank you so much. It's so nice to know that Jim Croces songs are still well received after all these years.
