Now that I’ve had time to think about it more, I am decided on the J-35 Faded. That’s within my range if I can find used and will probably join to use the classifieds here now. I keep coming back to that one and I wish I had one locally but will need to branch out a bit.

Big thumbs up for your decision!
I recently saw a 2022 Faded J-45 for sale here, but the new price was just a few sheckels more. It’s a little soon to expect a big discount as the norm, but it’s always possible a new owner has grown disenchanted with theirs and chalks up a Priced to Sell discount to a few months’ personal trial. That’s where the price deal will come from.

50’s
Another vote for the 50’s model here. I found a used one locally in mint condition for $1600. It had everything I wanted out of a J-45. I love playing it and the tone is wonderful. You should play one before you buy or purchase from a place that has a return policy. Everyone of them are different…
