I bet this thing sounds fantastic.. I'm a huge fan of Takamine even tho I've never owned one .. I've watched some interviews with their top guys (I can't remember the luthier's name but there are a couple I've seen clips of) .. they believe that using laminate actually strengthens the guitar AND enhances the sound.. and while I didn't always agree, I've owned a guitar (my Washburn) that is laminate B&S and is, quite simply, the most resonant and responsive guitar I've ever played. tapping the box on this guitar is simply something to behold and puts my other "better" guitars to shame.
I don't know how much of that is attributed to the laminate, but it certainly isn't hurting the sound. sorry for the lengthy reply; just wanted to wish you good luck with your sale and encourage anyone who may be on the fence: these guitars are fantastic instruments!! good luck!
