Default Stella by Starlight

Just wanted to share...

You're hearing the acoustic tone of my 575 with some very light amplification...

Excellent playing and very tasty...however, I'm not too crazy about the sound of this guitar, but then again, you're the player and it's your choice.

I love it!

Most of all I'm glad there are young guys keeping such music alive.

Yeah, that's why I put the disclaimer about what you're hearing...

This was just done with a webcam...not really giving you too good a representation of what this guitar sounds liked plugged in (I see it as an electric guitar that has enough acoustic volume that it's inevitable some will be picked up by a simple one mic setup like this...)

Thanks all for the nice compliments on the playing...

Jeff, yours and Steve Jaxx here on AGF is about the only Jazz I listen to and I always love it. I could see myself going in that direction some day. I always like the feeling you put into your arrangements.

Jeff, personally I really like the tone. Go ahead and bust those stereotypes that all jazz guys roll off the tone knob.

Thanks so much guys.

Archtop guy, i just started another thread with a tune that's a bit more of my usual tone, but i dig a brighter tone a la Julian Lage as well.
