Love what you guys did with the rosette (though I might reverse the woods) but the design is really cool.

Great looking, what a fun guitar.

On the wave for the rosette, wouldn't it rather have a sharp end (like florentine vs venetian)

We will look at it both ways. It is more of a sharp end but kind of bumps into the purfling so maybe it looks flattened out. It is kind of two things... the sun and waves. That's why we made maple the sky

I appreciate the suggestion to flip the woods around... I think we're gonna do that. Obviously the madi rosewood will have different grain on each piece, but I think it will be good.

The rosette seems to be so many things.... it is the sun, the waves, and the sharks, all elements of surfing. Fits with the official name - Last Wave

The "surfboard" side braces are really a touch of class on this one!

I have to agree that the side braces look very sharp. Nice touch whoever came up with it. Nice commemorative, Keith.

Thanks Phil - it was just something we thought fit the theme of the guitar - and it was a little surprise for Keith.

Three pieces of binding and some b/w/b purfling glued up and drum sanded nice and thin - then shaped on our belt sander.

We're just glad he liked it. LOL
