Default Ovation 1867 Legend signed by Richie Sambora- make an offer

Hey all,

Some of you know my wife and I adopted a baby this year. A friend recently gifted me this to sell towards some finalization fees.

First- about the autograph. My friend got Sambora to sign it in person, so I don’t have any kind of proof of authenticity. I’m not putting a huge value on it so it is what it is.

Specs: solid Sitka top
Scale: 25.5
Nut: 1 and 11/16
Electronics: original piezo
Comes with hard case

I don’t know much about these so make me an offer.

Asking 500 shipped. That’s not a firm number- I just don’t know what to ask.

Come with the original case and piezo pickup as stated in the post.

No repairs done or needed- excellent condition.

Need more info on the electronics, ie, which pre-amp? More pics overall.

Here's a link to the specs if it helps you.

Sorry Nymuso- been out of commission for the holidays. I’ll post a pic of the back when I get home. Anything else you want to see specifically?

No this is a different model. The 1867 was built from about 1984 to 2005, and then was changed to an LX with different neck, body, and electronics (mainly for Japanese market I think). The label suggests that this one is either from the 90s or early 2000s, so would likely have a super shallow bowl, and most likely an OP-24 or OP-X pre-amp which were very solid products. The MSRP of these was around $1300 for most years. Pictures of the bowl and pre-amp might help. The supershallow bowl was noted for playing comfort, but not the greatest bass response and volume when played unplugged.
