Thanks everyone. It’s not often I bond with an instrument in 24 hours, but it does happen on occasion – and this is one of those occasions. This is my second attempt buying an H/13. I bought an H/13 off the shelf a few years ago. Wonderful finger picking, but I was never completely satisfied with it when I used a pick. After several conversations with Carolyn, I was convinced she understood what I was looking for and tried again. She nailed the tone I was looking for in a previous SCGC Custom, so I am familiar with her ability to interpret my wishes. This one is well balanced, mellow and already developing a deep low-end growl. I Love it!

Wow, really great. Congrats! Funny thing about the sunburst, and forgetting to select natural on your order, sometimes things happen for a reason. Play it well!

Sound Samples
After a week of hard play, I’m very pleased with this guitar. Plays fantastic with fingers or pick. Great balance and personality. I’m Going to link a couple iPhone sound samples on Sound Cloud below. With any luck they will appear below!
