Default New original in need of a title!

Hey guys,

Something new, for Spring. Not sure what I'll call it yet - we had a beautiful past couple of days here in Virginia Beach that inspired this one. Have a few title ideas in mind so far but one of my favorite things about writing instrumentals is asking folks what the sounds remind them of or what places they take them. Let me know below! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Very nice! Sounds like you're "Just Moseying Along", or maybe, "Moseying Along".

Great lively tune Dustin.
Even though I don't care for the Time Change we have to do twice a year, the phrase "Spring Forward" kept filling my brain.
Nice nice music!

Man, that sounds really good! Lovely piece on a lovely guitar!

A name for the song doesn't come to me. Maybe Fred (Island Guitar) will weigh in because his wife really seems to have almost occult powers when it comes to naming songs.

I do like Lance's suggestion just above about "Spring Forward." I do think that works well!

I really like that...I keep thinking "Spring's Return" or "Spring Fling" or Spring something" but didn't think of that...you'll get credit if thats what I stick with!

I agree! Yes I've heard she is quite the crafter of song-titles! Fred's got some cool titles for his tunes.

Not a bad idea, the section with the open triplets was the first part of this tune that made me want to develop other parts for a full song and to me it sounds like wind chimes, or as you said, some sort of charm dangling in the wind, maybe? Thanks for the input!

Solid idea...I've always liked Tommy Emmanuel's "Morning Air" and this tune is actually a lot like that one in some ways. Thanks for listening Mike.

There's so much movement in that song. I think the title should reflect that. So I'm thinking something like "First Butterfly of Summer."

Hey Dustin, my wife names a lot of my tunes.......played it for her........she calls it "Misty Sands". There's some background that brought that image to her........but I'll just leave you with the title for now!
Talk soon,
Fred
