Completely bonkers. No way I would do that after once having a D string snap and it embedded itself in the fretboard.

I cringed and jumped during most of that - not something I want to try, for sure!

I get that you would enjoy this.
Personally, I'd not let that guy near any of my guitars.

This reminds me of a show posted on YouTube years ago created by a couple of college guys called: “I Wonder What Would Happen If We Put THIS in the Microwave?” Yep, craziness ensued, just like this video. :-)
Best,
Jayne

Thank you for sharing...

At this time we ask you to please rise, as we observe a moment of silence in memory of the exploding cello of 2014...

We now return you to our regularly-scheduled program:

It's ironic when he got the D string up to G# at 4:18 and said the other strings broke there and than it snapped.

Not gonna lie. This is scary and I would never do it, but the strings popping in the video is kinda satisfying.

As a former EMT and owner of 8 wonderful examples of the Luthiers craft, I had to click off at the snap of the D string.......What scares me most is he said he owns a guitar store.

My favorite part is when there were two strings left low E and A he said we need to find out how high that can go with a smile. That put a smile on face.

I reached out to him and he just got back to me. It was a set of 12-53.

Felt myself getting dumber as I watched it. Made it to the first string breaking. Too stupid.
