Default Looking for crossover and…..

I called two Guitar Centers to check availability of Cordoba crossover nylon guitars.

The first one said they had none in stock, the second one asked me what is a crossover?

YIKES!!

Yeah, I was hoping to be able to handle, inspect, and play one before purchasing.

I’m in no hurry. If I must buy unseen, I’ll choose a vendor with a good return policy!

You most likely got one of the kids who normally shred on electric guitar.

Most Guitar Centers have at least a small selection of "classical guitars", and most of those sales counter kids won't be familiar with the different persuasions of nylon strung guitars.

It's better to visit in person because you'll probably already know more than 95% of their sales staff when it comes to nylon strung guitars.

The last time I walked through a GC there were a few crossovers amongst the regular classical guitars. They seemed to have mostly a couple brands that weren't Cordoba, but there were some Cordoba classicals there, too.

If you can afford it, look at a Lowden jazz model. Has a pickup. 48mm neck, 25.5 scale. Incredible instruments, even when played unplugged
